SeAH Group is set to build a special alloy factory in Texas, USA.

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] SeAH Group is set to construct a steel plant in Temple, Texas, with an investment of $110 million (approximately 150 billion KRW).

According to industry sources on July 10th, SeAH Group executives met with Texas Governor Greg Abbott on the 9th to discuss the investment in the steel manufacturing plant in Temple. Governor Abbott stated, "This investment is expected to attract over $100 million to the Temple, Texas area and is projected to create 100 new jobs." Although the exact incentives have not been disclosed, Texas plans to provide incentives related to this investment.

The facility will be located in an industrial area in Temple, with a total site area of approximately 181,500 square meters. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third or fourth quarter of this year, with the first commercial production expected in the first half of 2026.
