[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] HL Mando joined hands with Kakao Mobility and KM Parking & Space to commercialize autonomous parking robots. The three companies signed a business agreement (MOU) with Pangyo NextM on the 13th.
Through this agreement, the three companies develop a service that connects the entire process of robot parking. It is a way to combine smart parking solutions with HL Mando's parking robot parking (Parkie). Kakao Mobility focuses on developing a control system. Also, KM Parking & Space, a subsidiary of Kakao Mobility Parking Solution, will build and operate a smart parking lot.
The commercialization service of the three companies' autonomous parking robots is expected to take place through the 'Kakao T' app. The mobile phone app allows you to see the location of the vehicle and the parking lot at a glance. In the future, the company plans to expand its service to overseas markets as well as domestic Kakao T parking lots.
