[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Samsung C&T’s Construction Division announced on the 30th that it has been selected as the final contractor for the reconstruction of the Shinbanpo 4th Apartment complex in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

On the 29th, the reconstruction association of Shinbanpo 4th approved the proposal to select Samsung C&T as the contractor during a general meeting. The project involves redeveloping a 92,922㎡ site at 70 Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, constructing seven buildings ranging from three underground floors to 48 above-ground floors, with a total of 1,828 residential units and various auxiliary facilities. The construction cost is estimated to be approximately KRW 1.031 trillion.

Samsung C&T proposed the new complex name as "Raemian Heriven Banpo." The name combines "Heritage" (cultural heritage), "River" (symbolizing the nearby Han River), and "Seven" (representing the seven residential buildings), signifying a premium, seven-star lifestyle.

To create an innovative residential design, Samsung C&T collaborated with top global designers, including SMDP (the U.S.-based architectural design group behind Raemian One Bailey), Ron Arad, and Nicola Gallizia.

A Sky Bridge will be built at a height of 170 meters, making it the tallest in Banpo. It will offer a 360-degree panoramic view and house high-end facilities such as a sky gym, sky golf range, outdoor pool, and a guest house.
