CJ Olive Young's sales reached nearly 4 trillion won last year

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] CJ Olive Young's sales reached nearly 4 trillion won last year, beating AmorePacific and LG Household & Health Care, the nation's No. 1 and No. 2 cosmetics companies. This is the first time CJ Olive Young has surpassed sales of the two companies.

According to a business report submitted by CJ to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 21st, CJ Olive Young posted sales of 3.8612 trillion won and operating profit of 466 billion won last year.

CJ Olive Young's sales jumped 1.837 trillion won (39%) from 2.7775 trillion won in 2022.

CJ Olive Young's sales last year (3.8 trillion won) exceeded AmorePacific's total sales last year (3.6 trillion won) and LG Household & Health Care's cosmetics sales (2.8 trillion won).

CJ Olive Young's operating profit also jumped 70% last year from the previous year (274.5 billion won). Net profit also rose 67% from the previous year (208.1 billion won) to 347.3 billion won.

The number of CJ Olive Young stores increased from 1,298 in 2022 to 1,338 last year.
