Samsung Display's first dividend since its launch ... 5.6 trillion won to Samsung Electronics

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Samsung Display will allocate KRW 5 trillion to Samsung Electronics as it implements its first dividend since its launch.

According to Samsung Display's separate audit report published on the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 21st, Samsung Display's cash dividend for the current term is 25,400 won per share, totaling 6.65 trillion won.

The dividend was decided at the regular shareholders' meeting of Samsung Display on the 19th. Samsung Display's dividend payment is the first since its launch in 2012.

Samsung Electronics owns 84.8% of Samsung Display's stake. According to this estimate, Samsung Electronics will receive 5.6395 trillion won in dividends.
