[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Dongbu Corporation announced on July 23 that it signed a construction contract on the 21st (local time) for the "My An–Cao Lanh Road Construction Project" commissioned by Vietnam's Ministry of Construction.

The project involves building a 26.6-kilometer, four-lane highway with 18 new bridges and soft ground reinforcement works. The total project cost is approximately KRW 216.6 billion (USD 155 million), and Dongbu Corporation will serve as the lead contractor overseeing all aspects of the construction.

The project will be jointly financed by South Korea’s Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF), managed by the Export-Import Bank of Korea, and by the Vietnamese government. The construction period is expected to last about 36 months.

Dongbu Corporation is also currently undertaking Section 2 of the Tan Van–Nhon Trach Road Project, which connects Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Province.
