[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] NAVER Z unveiled ZEPETO's first official character 'ZEMMA', a metaverse platform, on the 12th.
ZEMMA is a character based on ZEPETO's goods unit, ZEM. As more than 95% of ZEPETO users are global users, they have been born into animal-based characters that are familiar to everyone so that they are not limited to race and region.
Naver Jet said it will launch a "Phygital" business this year that connects users' virtual experiences to actual physical spaces. Specifically, starting with Gemma, the company plans to produce its own contents as well as to launch goods on various channels based on collaboration with creators.
