[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] In response to the declaration of emergency martial law by President Yoon Suk-yeol, several major IT companies, including Nexon and Krafton, have decided to implement remote work on the 4th.

A Nexon representative stated, "We decided to work remotely around 12:50 AM." Similarly, Krafton announced through its internal bulletin the decision to adopt remote work the previous night.

Other companies, such as NCSoft and Netmarble, are reportedly considering remote work options as well.

Naver has issued a notice recommending "remote work" for its employees. Naver typically operates a flexible work-from-home policy.

Later in the day, at around 1:20 AM, the National Assembly held a plenary session and passed a resolution demanding the lifting of the emergency martial law, with all 190 members present voting in favor. As a result, the declaration of martial law was rendered invalid.
