[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Ramen export value has reached 1.1 trillion KRW from January to August this year, marking the ninth consecutive year of record-breaking exports and raising expectations of surpassing 1.5 trillion KRW in 2024.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs on the 18th, ramen exports from January to August 2024 increased by 31.7% compared to the same period last year, reaching approximately 1.1 trillion KRW. This milestone was achieved two months earlier than last year.
In 2023, ramen exports totaled around 1.2 trillion KRW. On the 18th, various types of ramen were on display for sale at a retail store in Seoul.
