[Alpha Biz= Kim Sangjin] Hyosung TNC announced that at its extraordinary general meeting on Thursday, the proposal to acquire the special gases division of Hyosung Chemical was approved as planned.
The special gases division produces products such as nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), which are used in semiconductor and display manufacturing processes. Major customers include Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, LG Display, and Samsung Display.
The acquisition amount by Hyosung TNC is 920 billion KRW, and the transaction is set to be completed by the 1st of next month, with plans to create business synergies thereafter.
