[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Actor Kim Soo-hyun will hold a press conference on March 31, according to his agency, Gold Medalist. Kim Soo-hyun previously denied rumors of a relationship with actress Kim Sae-ron, but after photos, including one showing the two kissing, were released following her passing, he admitted that they had dated for about a year.
However, new evidence has emerged suggesting that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron were in a relationship for six years, starting when she was in the 8th grade, which has caused public opinion to sour rapidly. As a result, his image has taken a hit, and he is facing a potential removal from advertising campaigns.
The scandal has also affected a Disney Plus original series set to be released in April, putting Kim Soo-hyun in a position where he could face penalties for breach of contract.
Gold Medalist announced on March 30 that a press conference will be held at 4:30 PM on March 31, where Kim Soo-hyun and the agency’s legal representative will attend. However, the press conference will only involve a statement, and no questions will be taken from the press.
