[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Baedal Minjok (Baemin) has announced that it will postpone the transition to a paid model for its subscription service, 'Baemin Club,' to November 11. The service was initially scheduled to become paid starting August 20.

The delay is due to the expansion of the free delivery benefits to include restaurants that use 'store delivery' services, in addition to the original 'Baemin delivery.' Store delivery refers to deliveries made by the restaurant’s own delivery staff, as opposed to Baemin riders.

Baemin Club is a subscription program offering benefits such as free delivery for 'bulk orders' and discounts for 'single orders,' with a standard fee of 3,990 won. However, the promotional price of 1,990 won will be maintained for the time being.
