[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] Sae-A Trading, an affiliate of the GLOBAL SAE-A Group, will be able to produce global sports brand clothing.

Sae-A Trading announced on the 9th (local time) that it has signed a final contract for mergers and acquisitions (M & A) of Tegra, a sports apparel company. The contract will be finalized within this month, and specific conditions such as transaction price are closed to the public. Sae-A Trading is considering relocating its Tegra headquarters to Seoul.

Tegra, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, specializes in producing and supplying sports clothing. It has a total of five subsidiaries in North and Central America, including the United States, Honduras, and El Salvador. Major subsidiaries include "Fjord," a U.S.-based sports uniform manufacturer, "ArtFx," a clothing printing company, "Southern Apparel Contractors and SAC," a clothing manufacturer in Honduras and "Decotex" in El Salvador.

Based on this, Tegra has established itself locally as a manufacturer of uniforms and equipment for professional sports players focused on performance. In addition, it is responsible for the development and production of clothing products of global sports brands for university and high school athletes and fans. Therefore, the industry is considered to have high-quality capabilities in all fields, from sports clothing production to related products, manufacturing knowledge, and expertise.
