[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] DL E&C announced on the 13th that it has completed the Isoprene latex plant of Cariflex, a subsidiary of DL Chemical, in Singapore.
Modular construction refers to the installation of complex plant equipment in the field after working in a separate manufacturing space by dividing them into transportable sizes. It can shorten the construction period, improve quality, and prevent safety accidents.
DL E&C produced the plant module in Vietnam, shipped it by ship, and installed it on the site of the Singapore plant. By streamlining the process, the construction period was shortened by about a month than planned. The client, Cariflex, is the only company in the world that produces Isoprene latex with anion polymerization technology. It is the number one in the global Isoprene latex market.
