[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyundai Pharmaceutical is collecting the drug after it was reported that the hair loss treatment drug on sale is mixed with dementia treatment.
It is known that the products subject to recall are mixed with dementia treatments. This was revealed through a pharmacist's report. About 20,000 bottles of recalled products are said to have been produced.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and Hyundai Pharmaceutical are announcing the recall of the product in question through the company's website. Separately, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety is investigating how the incident occurred and whether consumers took it.
