The Hyundai Mobis union stated that if the management operates the production line, a retaliatory strike will be held on the 11th, noting that the schedule may change depending on the situation with Hyundai Motor Company.
The Hyundai Mobis union previously demanded a wage increase at the same level as the Hyundai Motor union, including a fixed increase of 159,800 KRW in base pay and a performance bonus of 30% of the previous year's net profit.
In response, the management proposed a base pay increase of 106,000 KRW, a performance bonus of 350% plus 15 million KRW, and a 100% bonus plus 25 shares of Hyundai Mobis stock to commemorate reaching 10 trillion KRW in overseas orders. The Hyundai Mobis union rejected this offer last month and declared the negotiations broken down.
