[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Financial Supervisory Service will conduct an on-site inspection of Industrial Bank of Korea and Hana Bank next week regarding the Discovery Fund.
According to financial authorities on the 15th, the Financial Supervisory Service will launch frequent inspections of the Industrial Bank of Korea and Hana Bank on the 18th. The inspection is expected to proceed until the 22nd and resume on the 10th of next month.
Hana Bank was expected to conduct discovery-related inspections at the same time during its regular inspection scheduled for the fourth quarter, but decided to conduct a separate frequent inspection.
The key point of the inspection is what decision-making the two banks accepted Discovery Asset Management's false investment proposal.
