[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Following Hyundai Motor, Kia will also start its certified car business next month. It is also planning to contribute to the revitalization of electric vehicles by implementing the first used electric vehicle quality rating system in Korea.
Kia announced on the 26th that it will hold a media day event for certified used cars on Sebit Island in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and will purchase and sell its used cars from the 1st of next month.
Kia presented △ finished car manufacturers with a new customer experience △ the supply of the highest quality used cars △ the introduction of the country's first used electric vehicle (EV) quality rating system as a strategy to differentiate three certified used cars.
In particular, Kia is the first Korean finished car brand to sell electric vehicles as certified used cars.
Kia will prepare a "quality inspection and certification system" for electric vehicles, measure mileage on a single charge, and introduce a five-grade "used EV quality rating system" for the first time in Korea. Through this, it plans to contribute to advancing the era of electric mobility by lowering the access threshold for used electric vehicles.
