[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Pension funds have taken Celltrion and bank shares out of investment baskets this month.
Instead, it has increased the proportion of areas where growth momentum is expected, such as robots and secondary stocks, or where stock prices have fallen sharply recently. Stock industry sources say that long-term investment-oriented pension funds are taking advantage of low-priced buying opportunities to collect supplies.
According to Market Point on the 22nd, Samsung SDI (006400) bought a net KRW 74.1 billion from the 1st to the day. Doosan Robotics (454910) (72.5 billion won), Hanwha Aerospace (012450) (40.2 billion won), Krafton (259960 billion won), POSCO DX (022100 billion won) and L&F (066970 billion won) (30.6 billion won) followed. Three of the top 10 net purchases of pension funds are related to secondary batteries.
During the same period, Celltrion (068270) sold 104.5 billion won worth of stocks. Hana Financial Group (086790), Korea Aerospace (047810), AmorePacific (090430) and POSCO Holdings (005490) (33.8 billion won). KB Financial Group (105560) also sold 31.4 billion won, ranking seventh in net selling.
In particular, the company focused on robot stocks and secondary stocks while selling 242.7 billion won worth of stocks for 12 trading days from the 6th to the day when the ban on short selling was enforced. As a result, Doosan Robotics, whose stock price has been halved since its listing, has already surpassed the closing price (51,400 won) on the first day of its listing. The stock price, which barely reached 40,000 won earlier this month, soared 60% and is about to enter the 60,000 won range.
