[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The delivery service of GS25, a convenience store run by GS Retail, was disrupted, causing inconvenience to consumers.
According to a GS25 store owner on the 4th, the 'GS Convenience Store Delivery' problem occurred from 4 pm on the 3rd.
According to the on-site store owners' explanations, the delivery device's waybill was not printed due to a system error at the headquarters.
GS courier service was not restored until after 11 am that day. In addition, some stores had errors until after 5 p.m.
On the same day, a store owner of GS25 complained of frustration, saying, "The headquarters said it has been 99% restored, but even if we call other stores, there are some stores that are still not working, including our store."
Consumers using convenience store couriers also complained about inconveniences caused by access failures through social networking services (SNS).
GS Retail has completed the inspection for the current connection failure. Currently, delivery is available at all stores.
"We received a failure report in the afternoon of the 3rd, and the monitoring confirmed that it returned to 11:99 a.m. on the 4th. The cause is a simple server failure," a GS Retail official said. "We understand that stores that have not been recovered are returning sequentially when we reboot the computer."
