Hana Securities will launch its token securities platform in August next year

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hana Securities will unveil its Token Securities (ST) platform in August next year. It plans to go through a stabilization period for about a month and officially serve it.

Hana Securities plans to build a blockchain ecosystem that covers the entire area of token securities from issuance to distribution through the ST platform.

It also works to tokenize various assets. It also plans to push for a business partnership related to fractional investment with the nation's top entertainment agency.

According to the securities industry on the 13th, Hana Securities signed a contract with itcen and began building a ST platform for 10 months from last month. Hana Securities will employ dozens of people every month.

The goal is to effectively combine the existing securities trading system with the blockchain's distributed ledger-based system. Technology development is needed in various areas, from blockchain wallets to smart contracts and key management of blockchain wallets.

It plans to establish a system through preemptive investment and adjust it when regulations are released in the future.

At the same time as establishing a token securities platform, Hana Securities plans to take the lead in forming the entire ecosystem, including distribution, so that companies with various underlying assets can start issuing token securities.
