Wider Planet's market capitalization jumped 6 times due to the upper limit price for 6 consecutive trading days.

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] WiderPlanet, whose stock price soared in a short period of time and was suspended once, went straight to the upper limit for six consecutive trading days.

According to the Korea Exchange on the 19th, WiderPlanet closed at 4,120 won, up 29.94% from the previous day. WiderPlanet, which continues to hit the upper limit every day, soared to the upper limit immediately after the market opened.

The stock price of WiderPlanet began to move after the news that actors Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung participated in the paid-in capital increase of 10 billion won and 2 billion won, respectively. When the investment is completed on the 20th, Lee Jung-jae will become the largest shareholder of WiderPlanet.

Trading was suspended for a day on the 14th, hitting the upper limit for four consecutive trading days from the 8th to the 13th. It also hit an upper limit on the 15th when trading resumed.

According to the regulations of the Korea Exchange, the trading was suspended for one day if the stock price soared 40% for more than two days, and WiderPlanet was suspended on the 14th.

WiderPlanet jumped 550.18% from the low of 2,750 won on the 4th. In the past, the market capitalization was only 20 billion won, but since it was woven into Han Dong-hoon's theme stock, the market capitalization has now risen to 123.5 billion won.
