[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] More than 500 Korean companies visit the world's largest electronic exhibition. It is predicted that there will be a heated competition between China, which has cheap products at the forefront, and a Japanese company that dreams of becoming a Japanese company.
According to the industry on the 5th, about 500 Korean companies will participate in the 'CES 2024' held in Las Vegas from the 9th to the 12th. It covers large companies such as Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Group and LG Electronics, as well as mid- and small-sized companies and startups. It has already received 13 top innovation awards and 150 innovation awards from its organizer, CTA (Consumer Technology Association). Considering that there are 36 top innovation awards and 522 innovation awards, this is a large number.
The keywords for Korean companies' exhibitions are summarized into three: next-generation industries, eco-friendly and new products. It is a strategy to show eco-friendly efforts while showing technology in next-generation industries such as AI (artificial intelligence), robots and electric vehicles, and to captivate global consumers with new products. Samsung Electronics presents AI vision, LG Electronics introduces next-generation mobility solutions, and SK Group introduces eco-friendly blueprints. Hyundai and Kia will also showcase their future business strategies.
China, which had been put on hold to advance into overseas markets due to COVID-19, has set up booths with some 1,100 companies, the largest number this year. It is the most among all countries. Hisense and Xiaomi prepare a large number of new products such as electric cars and mini LED TVs.
