[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Ntreev Soft, a subsidiary of NCsoft, goes through the closure process.
According to NC on the 5th, the company decided to liquidate the Ntreev Soft corporation on February 15 the previous day. Currently, there are about 70 employees in the entry and all of them have been notified of their recommended resignation.
As a result, the mobile MMORPG (Multi-Access Role-Playing Game) 'Trickster M' developed and operated by Ntreev Soft and the baseball game 'Professional Baseball H2 and H3' service will be terminated.
Ntreev Soft is a developer founded in 2003 by Korean game company Sonnori. NC invested 108.4 billion won in February 2012 to acquire a 76% stake in Entry.
Ntreev Soft recorded operating losses shortly after it was acquired by NC. Since then, it has recorded a deficit for 11 consecutive years, followed by a restructuring in 2016 and a second restructuring in 2022.
