[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] People Power Party is seeking to recruit Ko Dong-jin, former president of Samsung Electronics and head of the IM division, ahead of the April general elections. It is the first time to recruit a businessman from a high-ranking official, and the first case in which Han Dong-hoon, chairman of the party's emergency committee, is trying to recruit him in person since he became co-chairman of the party's joint talent recruitment committee.

According to political circles on the 11th, People Power Party is in contact with President Ko to recruit talent.

Born in Seoul in 1961, Ko graduated from Kyungsung High School and Sungkyunkwan University's Department of Industrial Engineering. He joined the development management department of Samsung Electronics in 1984 and became the president, which is considered a rare myth for an employee.

He is also considered to have created the 'Galaxy Myth' by leading the wireless division and being evaluated to have put the 'Galaxy' mobile phone up to its current position.

However, it has been reported that former president Ko's method of running for office or his constituency has not been decided.

Starting with former president Ko, it is also a matter of political interest to recruit more business and corporate talent from the people's power.
