[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won refuted Art Center Nabi Director Roh So-young's claim that he spent more than 100 billion won on his roommate Kim Hee-young, chairman of the T&C Foundation.

Choi's representatives pointed out in a statement on the 17th, "Most of the materials presented by Roh based on the media are Choi's personal real estate, art purchases, venture investments and social contributions," adding, "It is an unreasonable claim that he combined them and donated them to Kim."

Chairman Choi's representatives went on to say, "The financial data Roh claims is the sum of all accounts owned by Chairman Choi since 2015, and in fact, the amount spent on Chairman Kim for eight years is 610 million won," adding, "It is not a large amount considering that Chairman Kim has been working at a public interest foundation established by Chairman Choi for seven years without compensation."

"During most of the 20 years of marriage and 14 years of separation, Roh transferred Choi's entire salary to his bank account and used it," he said. "The fact that the property value of Roh's name has been revealed is about 20 billion won, which was formed based on Choi's salary."

Chairman Choi and director Roh are in the process of divorce and have been engaged in an outdoor battle over the appointment of a lawyer to represent the lawsuit and family affairs in the course of the second trial.
