[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kim Joo-hyun, chairman of the Financial Services Commission, and Lee Bok-hyun, head of the Financial Supervisory Service, will meet with CEOs of securities firms to discuss pending industry issues.

According to the financial authorities and the financial investment industry on the 22nd, the Financial Services Commission and the Financial Supervisory Service will hold a New Year's meeting with CEOs of 15 securities firms at the Financial Investment Association in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 24th.

At the meeting, the company is expected to look into the recent stock market and securities firms' business conditions, and order risk management of securities firms and strengthening internal control.

At the beginning of the year, the local stock market fell more than the stock markets in major countries around the world. In addition, the government is in a reassuring situation, such as concerns over poor real estate project financing (PF), and the Financial Supervisory Service has detected a number of illegal activities by executives and employees of securities firms during a Financial Supervisory Service inspection, signaling massive sanctions.
