[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Dongbu Engineering & Construction announced on the 1st that its civil engineering and landscaping projects worth 1.2337 trillion won have been suspended.
This is equivalent to 84.43% of sales in 2022.
The company explained the reason for the suspension of business as "it caused serious damage to major parts of the structure of the facility by poorly constructing it intentionally or by gross negligence."
The business suspension period is from April 1 to November 30.
