[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The company has completely refuted the rumors of defective cracks in HBM supplied by Samsung Electronics.
Samsung Electronics said on the 6th that the rumor spreading mainly in the Yeouido securities district that "Samsung Electronics' HBM supplied to NVIDIA is suffering from an overall defect due to crack is groundless."
Samsung Electronics continued, “The overall defective rumor was identified as some analysts at Yeouido Securities who had previously spread malicious rumors, and we are not sure why (the malicious rumors were spread).”
Samsung Electronics is said to have started supplying HBM to Nvidia from the beginning of this year, following AMD.
