[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Bobcat announced on the 7th that it recorded 9.7589 trillion won in annual sales and 1.3899 trillion won in operating profit last year on a consolidated basis. Year-on-year sales and operating profit rose 13% and 30%, respectively, to their highest performance.
Doosan Bobcat cited strong demand for products in North America and increased sales through the resolution of supply issues as performance factors. In fact, sales in North America, which accounts for more than 70% of total sales, increased by 15%.
EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) increased by 7% and ALAO (Asia, Latin America, Oceania) decreased by 2%. By product, the company achieved even growth of 10% for small equipment, 19% for industrial vehicles, and 26% for portable power.
Doosan Bobcat presented 9.3441 trillion won in sales and 1 trillion won in operating profit for its annual earnings forecast for 2024.
