[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] T'way Airlines is scheduled to operate on four European routes, starting with Paris, France in June.
According to T'way Airlines on the 15th, the service date is being considered in the order of Paris, France in June, Rome, Italy in August, Barcelona, Spain in September and Frankfurt, Germany in October.
On the previous day, Korean Air said it will designate T'way Airlines as an alternative airline for Asiana Airlines on the route and support its service from the second half of the year in accordance with the European Union's (EU) rival authorities' corrective measures.
As it is difficult to operate on its own right now, T'way Airlines will be dispatched five A330-200 planes and about 100 pilots owned by Korean Air to operate four European routes.
