[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Coupang refuted a broadcaster's report on the 14th, calling it a "malicious report."

On the previous day, a broadcaster reported that Coupang had been writing internal data for the Excel document file of the "PNG list," which is believed to be blacklisted. According to the report, Coupang wrote in this data the information of the people who worked at the workplace in the past as well as the reasons for his reluctance to hire. Reasons included "unable to perform normal work," "health problems," "sexual harassment in the workplace," and "repeated absenteeism."

Coupang refuted the claim, saying, "CFS's personnel evaluation data does not match the unknown source document presented in the report and does not contain any secret symbols." "We have seriously defamed CFS and CFS executives and employees by reporting only unidentified documents, unconfirmed one-sided interviews and malicious claims by KCTU officials," he said, signaling legal action, including filing a complaint with the Korea Communications Standards Commission.
