CJ Group conducted regular executive personnel appointments in 2024. CJ Group said on the 16th that it has carried out regular executive appointments in 2024 to replace CEOs of major affiliates such as CJ CheilJedang and CJ Logistics and promote 19 executives (management leaders). Kang Shin-ho, CEO of CJ Logistics, will return to CJ CheilJedang after four years as vice chairman. It is the first time that a former public employee has been promoted to vice chairman at CJ Group. Kang joined the group in 1988 and served as head of CJ Group's human resources team, CJ Freshway's CEO and CJ CheilJedang's food business division. In 2021, he was appointed as the CEO of CJ Logistics in regular personnel management and was evaluated to have innovated the structure of major business sectors and improved the organizational culture first. Last year, it achieved a record operating profit of 480.2 billion won, leading the growth of CJ Logistics earnings during its tenure.
