[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Kakao Bank said on the 20th that it received the AA rating, two notches higher than the previous year, at the "2023 MSCI ESG Evaluation" released by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI).
MSCI is an international rating agency that evaluates the management level of major listed companies worldwide every year. It will review various evaluation factors of the environment, society, and governance (ESG), including carbon emissions, securing and nurturing human resources, and forming a board of directors, and give them seven stages from CCC to AAA.
Kakao Bank received a BB rating in 2021, the first year since its listing in 2021, and a BBB rating in 2022 the following year.
