Fire Breaks Out at Factory in Seoul’s Mullae-Dong; No Casualties Reported

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] A fire broke out at a factory in Mullae-dong 3-ga, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, at approximately 3:10 p.m. on June 7. Firefighters are currently on site working to extinguish the blaze.



Authorities have reported no casualties as of now. Thick black smoke billowed from the factory, prompting nearby residents and workers in adjacent buildings to evacuate quickly.



The Yeongdeungpo District Office issued a safety alert via text message, stating, “Due to heavy smoke caused by the fire, traffic is currently being restricted in the area. Please exercise caution when driving nearby.”



Firefighters continue to work to bring the situation under control, and officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
