[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Line Yahoo, an affiliate of Naver, announced on the 23rd that it has introduced Line AI Assistant, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, to the Japanese version of the messenger app line.

You can talk to chatbots in the chat room to get the information you need. Document summary and image and PDF file translation are also possible. If you upload a food image, you can check information such as recipes and calories.

Line Yahoo offers this service for 990 yen (about 8,800 won) per month. If you use it for free, you can only get five chatbot answers a day. The company also introduced the 'Line AI Q & A' feature in the Line Japanese version last month. You can receive answers from generated AI or other users on a separate screen in the app.
