Hyosung Group's Subsidiaries Hyosung TNS and Hyosung ITX Appoint Former Samsung Executives as New CEOs

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyosung Group's subsidiaries, Hyosung TNS and Hyosung ITX, have appointed former Samsung executives as their new CEOs.

Hyosung TNS announced on the 18th that they held a board meeting and appointed Choi Bang-seop (61) as the new CEO. Choi graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Mechanical Design Engineering and joined Samsung Electronics in 1987. He has served as the head of Global Strategic Marketing for Samsung's Mobile Experience (MX) business and as the head of European Sales. Additionally, he led the expansion of Samsung smartphone market share as the head of Samsung Electronics America’s Mobile Division and MX Strategic Marketing.

Hyosung TNS, a global financial solutions company, supplies ATMs to 51 countries worldwide and holds the top market share in South Korea, the United States, and Indonesia.

Hyosung ITX, the IT subsidiary of Hyosung Group, also held a board meeting and appointed Hong Hye-jin (58), Vice President and Head of IT Strategy at Hyosung Corp., as the new CEO.

With this appointment, Hyosung ITX will operate under a dual CEO system, with Nam Kyung-hwan overseeing the contact center and existing business divisions, and Hong Hye-jin managing the new IT business divisions. This change aims to maximize synergy through responsible management of each business division.

Hong Hye-jin graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Computational Statistics in 1988. She has over 30 years of experience in IT strategy and marketing at Samsung Electronics and Samsung SDS. Hyosung ITX expects her business insight and extensive network to drive the expansion of their IT business division.
