[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Seoul, South Korea – April 22, 2025 — The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has issued an immediate sales suspension and recall of the health supplement “Multivitamin All-in-One” by Kolmar Korea’s health brand Korea Eundan, after testing revealed iodine levels more than double the permitted range.

The recall affects the 1,560mg 60-tablet bottle marked with a use-by date of February 10, 2027, and barcode number 8809497531729.

According to MFDS, while the product labeling indicated 60㎍ of iodine, actual testing detected 129.6㎍, equating to 216% of the labeled amount, which exceeds the allowed margin of error (80%–150% of declared content). Though iodine is essential for thyroid hormone production, excessive intake can pose health risks, including thyroid dysfunction.

The product, endorsed by popular South Korean entertainer Yoo Jae-suk, was one of the country’s top-selling health supplements in 2022.

Authorities have instructed consumers to immediately stop using the product and return it to the place of purchase. Vendors have also been ordered to halt all sales and distribution of the affected lot.

For more information or assistance with returns, consumers may contact the MFDS consumer hotline or Korea Eundan’s official customer service channels.
