Song Young-sook, the chairman of Hanmi Pharm Group, has officially announced her intention to step back from frontline management and establish a professional management system. Song, who is the wife of the late Chairman Lim Sung-ki, the company's founder, made this declaration through Hanmi Pharm Group on the 8th. She stated her decision to withdraw from active management following recent agreements, including a joint ownership agreement and voting rights pact with Shin Dong-kook, chairman of Hanyang Precision.
Previously, Song and her daughter, Vice Chairman Lim Ju-hyun, had entered into a stock purchase agreement and a joint exercise of voting rights agreement with Chairman Shin, who is the largest individual shareholder of Hanmi Science. As a result, Song's stake decreased from 11.93% to 6.16%, Vice Chairman Lim's stake decreased from 10.43% to 9.7%, and Chairman Shin's stake increased from 12.43% to 18.93%. Together, these three individuals, through direct family and friendly stakes, have secured a controlling interest in Hanmi Science.
