"Fourth time this year" KakaoTalk login error... Currently resolved

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Recently, there have been frequent KakaoTalk errors. On the 18th, Kakao reported an issue with logging into the PC version, which was resolved after about 1 hour and 26 minutes of service disruption. This marks the fourth such incident this year.

According to Kakao, the problem occurred due to a network error. They initiated emergency checks and recovery operations, starting to normalize around 11:36 AM and fully restoring by 12:20 PM.

Earlier this year, similar issues occurred on May 13th, 20th, and 21st, involving brief access errors, message sending delays, and login failures for both PC and mobile versions. Kakao has been requested by the government to develop improvement plans in response to these incidents.
