[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Namyang Dairy announced on the 24th that it has decided to purchase treasury stocks worth 20 billion won.
Namyang Dairy has signed a trust contract with NH Investment & Securities to acquire treasury stocks worth 20 billion won by December 24.
Namyang Dairy plans to implement shareholder return policies in the mid- to long-term and implement various measures to enhance shareholder value in the future.
Namyang Dairy Products posted consolidated sales of 234.2 billion won in the first quarter of this year, down 2.4% from a year earlier. The deficit during the same period was 7.4 billion won, up 52.9 percent from 15.7 billion won a year earlier.
