[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] On the 28th, Yoosung T&S announced that its rest areas and gas stations will cease operations due to the expiration of its lease agreements for these facilities.
The suspension will impact operations worth approximately 1.09 trillion won, accounting for 45.97% of recent sales. The suspension date is set for December 26, 2024.
The company stated, "The halt in the rest area operations will inevitably lead to a reduction in overall revenue and operating profit. We plan to enhance our profitability and financial structure by focusing on existing businesses and pursuing new ventures."
