[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Coupang Eats is targeting the delivery application (app) market with a delivery fee of '0 won'. Although it is ranked third in the industry behind Baemin and Yogiyo, it is planning to increase its market position by eliminating delivery costs.

Coupang Eats will offer free delivery services to Coupang's WOW membership members from the 26th. Previously, WOW membership members gave a 10% discount on food prices when ordering food, but they plan to replace it with a service that does not receive delivery fees in the future.

This service only applies to bundle delivery. Wow membership members have been able to choose delivery methods, such as bundle delivery, which delivers various foods together, and one-house delivery, which only handles orders received in one place. Bundle delivery is now converted to free delivery, but home delivery has been excluded from the service.

Free delivery areas include the Seoul metropolitan area, metropolitan cities, Chungcheong Province, Gangwon Province, Gyeongsang Province, Jeolla Province and Jeju Island. Coupang Eats plans to expand the benefits of Wow membership across the country.
