[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Kakao Mobility's sales fell about KRW 400 billion last year.
On the 18th, Kakao Mobility said in a notice to convene a shareholders' meeting recently sent to shareholders that its consolidated sales amounted to 601.4 billion won last year. Considering that sales exceeded KRW 1 trillion last year, the figure fell by about KRW 400 billion.
This is analyzed as a result of applying the net amount method for the first time, not the total amount method previously applied. According to the changed standards, last year's sales (8.1058 trillion won), which were announced to be the highest annual performance ever, will also fall below 8 trillion won, down 400 billion won.
