[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Container shipping company HMM announced at a board meeting held on the 12th that it has re-elected current CEO Kim Kyung-bae and Vice President Park Jin-ki. Kim will lead the HMM for another year.
HMM appointed Lee Gemma, a professor at Kyung Hee University, and Jeong Yong-seok, a former head of the Korea Development Bank, as new outside directors. This is the first time HMM has appointed a female outside director.
Meanwhile, HMM decided to pay a cash dividend of 600 won per common stock at the board meeting. The market dividend rate is 3.0% and the total dividend is about KRW 413.4 billion.
