In a statement following the call, President Trump highlighted the following key outcomes:

Agricultural Trade: China is reviewing an increase in U.S. soybean purchases to 20 million tons for the current season, with a firm commitment to 25 million tons for the following season. Discussions also included expanded Chinese procurement of American oil, gas, and aircraft engines.

Diplomatic Calendar: The two leaders coordinated on President Trump’s scheduled visit to Beijing this coming April, which is expected to be a milestone for bilateral economic cooperation.

Geopolitical Issues: The dialogue covered critical international flashpoints, including the Taiwan Strait, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and rising tensions in Iran, with both leaders seeking to manage competition and avoid escalation.

Bilateral Relations: President Trump reaffirmed his strong personal rapport with President Xi, stating that maintaining a stable partnership is a priority for both nations over the remaining years of his term.
