[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The eBEST Investment & Securities trading system suffered from a connection failure on the morning of the 3rd, causing inconvenience to users.
According to eBEST Investment & Securities, there was an error in accessing the securities firm's home trading system (HTS) and mobile trading system (MTS) at 8:45 a.m. before opening.
The connection failure continued even after opening, and the service was reportedly restored at 9:10 a.m. "It was restored at 9:10 am," said an official at eBEST Investment & Securities. "There was a module component in the switch equipment, but this part was defective and it took time to replace it."
The official added, "If the damage is confirmed, we will proceed with the compensation process according to the set manual."
