[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Bobcat has completed its overseas reorganization by cleaning up overlapping overseas corporations.
Doosan Bobcat has recently been on the rise in the global market, raising 1 trillion won in operating profit last year, and is expected to improve its business efficiency following the reorganization.
Doosan Bobcat announced on the 16th that it has liquidated DMHUK (Doosan Materials Handling UK), a British subsidiary of Doosan Industrial Vehicles. On the 14th of last month, another British subsidiary, GFTL, was liquidated. Currently, Doosan Bobcat is also starting the liquidation of RHL (Rushlift Holdings).
CEC (Clark Equipment Co.) will be the center in North America, while DBEM (Doosan Bobcat EMEA s.r.o.), a Czech production corporation, will be in charge of the regional headquarters in the European market.
Doosan Bobcat's integration into overseas corporations is a management efficiency that begins after the acquisition of Doosan Industrial Vehicles in 2021. Doosan Industrial Vehicle was created by ㈜Doosan splitting the forklift business division and was acquired by Doosan Bobcat for 750 billion won.
Doosan Bobcat, which acquired Doosan Industrial Vehicles, has started a new industrial vehicle business as well as the existing construction machinery market, continuing its sales and operating profit growth.
Doosan Bobcat's operating profit rose 80 percent year-on-year to 1.716 trillion won last year. Sales also rose 48 percent to 8.6219 trillion won over the same period.
