[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Samsung SDI is set to secure three-digit talent. Amid the intensifying battle to secure talent in the electric vehicle, battery and battery materials industries, Samsung SDI's recruitment of experienced employees is expected to be the largest ever.
Samsung SDI announced on the 21st that it has started hiring experienced employees in more than 50 jobs from the 14th of this month. The recruitment sector is in all areas such as medium and large battery division, small battery division, electronic materials division, and SDI Research Institute. A Samsung SDI official said, "The size of the recruitment of experienced employees is still undecided," but added, "We expect it to be in three digits and it will be the largest recruitment of experienced Samsung SDI employees."
The mid- to large-sized battery division, the small-sized battery division, the SDI Research Institute, and the Global Process and Equipment Development Center will hire talent in key technologies related to lithium-ion batteries and next-generation batteries. The electronic materials division selects personnel related to the development of semiconductor process materials and display materials. In addition, we will also recruit talented people in support areas such as quality, safety environment, and supply chain management (SCM) planning.
Samsung SDI will receive applications by the 28th of this month and finalize recruitment after document evaluation, interviews and medical checkups.
