[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] CJ Logistics will run its second Starbucks logistics center in Busan after Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, to strengthen its shipping competitiveness in the southern part of the country.
According to CJ Logistics on the 22nd, Starbucks Southern Logistics Center has begun operation in Busan International Industrial Logistics City.
CJ Logistics maintains an appropriate temperature in all processes from the moment the beans come in to storage, packaging, and delivery. To this end, the Southern Center itself was built as a 'huge refrigerator'. It is then delivered to the store by cold chain vehicle.
CJ Logistics has increased delivery efficiency by introducing automated facilities such as the robot arm palletizer, which carries loaded boxes to the conveyor belt, and the Piece Assorting System (PAS), which automatically classifies products by store.
